Associate Case Manager (VET Program) - Regular Full Time

Responsibilities

Provides quality case management for Veteran clients to include supportive counseling, service coordination/advocacy, and crisis support.  Ensures timely and accurate documentation of services and that client input is included in every step of the entire treatment and recovery process. Escort clients to VA, benefit and doctor’s appointments when necessary. 

Requirements

Prefer Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in social work, psychology, human services or related field with minimum 12 semester credit hours in courses such as psychology, counseling, criminal justice, human services, social work, social welfare, sociology or other behavioral sciences. Must have 1 ½ years of specialized experience in human services with an emphasis on working Veterans.  Access to vehicle and appropriate no-fault insurance with valid driver’s license and clean abstract.  CPR and First Aid Certification (or able to complete at IHS).  Must pass CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training.
