Provides administrative support to the IHS Clinical Director and hospital referral support by facilitating the communication between internal and external partners to ensure successful referrals of services for all IHS Specialty Shelters. Primary functions include managing calendar, attending agency and external meetings with and on behalf of the Clinical Director, recording weekly and other program meeting minutes, and assisting with the quality assurance efforts to maintain contractual requirements. Organizes and creates agency forms, correspondence and clinical documents for review and implementation across programs. Will work collaboratively with Director of Clinical Programs Administration.
Associate’s degree in Human Services, Liberal Arts, or Office Administration preferred. Minimum one year of Business College or other post-high school studies. Experience in office supporting multiple staff in a human service administrative setting. Must have excellent working knowledge of confidentiality laws and good professional discretion. Possess excellent communication skills, people and problem-solving skills, organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related software applications. Able to work with multiple deadlines and stakeholders under pressure and/or in stressful situations. Working knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation.
