Job Type: Full-Time
The Controller provides assistance and oversight in managing financial tasks and accounting operations in the organization. Manages relationships with banks, government funders and the financial community. Provides financial strategic support that ensures successful program outcomes for the agency.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and systems. Strong leadership and organization skills with an excellent ability to communicate (written/verbal) effectively. Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and prepare budgets in a timely manner. Familiar with grant writing and reporting processes. Proficient in accounting, Microsoft Office software.
Minimum Bachelors in Accounting with a CPA certification. At least 5 years accounting and/or financials. At least 2 years’ experience supervising small business office staff.
Preferred: 7+ years accounting experience in non-profit setting. Masters in Accounting. Experience with MIP accounting software and Fund Level Budgets.
