Job Type: Full-Time
Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive fund development, marketing and community relations strategy. Cultivate relationships to increase philanthropic opportunities and engagement. Serve as a spokesperson to ensure branding and messaging is in accordance with IHS policies, programs and strategies.
Working knowledge of local philanthropic community and foundation funding sources. Advanced knowledge/understanding of the attitudes and concerns of donors, the community, consumers, and public interest groups.
Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills. Able to multitask and organize multiple efforts to further the mission of IHS. Strong public speaking abilities to educate the public on homeless awareness issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. At least 2 years minimum of management experience fundraising and in community relations. Additional experience working with corporate and major individual donors.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field with 5 years fundraising management experience in Hawaii.
