Human Resources Generalist (FT)

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Workforce Excellence, the HR Generalist will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficent business operations with a focus on benefits/leave administration and employee relations. Will help to plan and administer other important functions including but not limited to staffing, compliance, performance management and improvement processes.  

Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
  • HR Specialist experience with emphasis in employee relations and/or benefit administration
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies

Preferred:

  • Proven experience managing conflict and nurturing relationships to build strong workplace culture based on core values 
  • Natural interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus
  • Working knowledge of HR federal/state laws and regulations
