IHS’ approach to homelessness balances compassion with fostering kuleana, and competence with evidence-based practices in order to spur thoughtful reflection and assertive action. Our team of 156 employees serve the entire homeless community from veterans to seniors, the chronically homeless to transgender persons. We serve Hawaii’s most vulnerable individuals with respect, taking the time to listen to their stories and offer tailored solutions.
